Of course, they weren't always in our food, but the concept was developed in the 1800s! Soon enough though, artificial flavoring was in everything we eat. This trend hasn't gone anywhere either. You may feel as if less food has artificial flavoring, but in fact, there are just more naturally flavored foods coming out day by day!

It seemed that everyone around us in the food production realm was using artificial flavors or ingredients. Simply put, that's not something we wanted to be in our acai or other bases. Through lots of trial and error, we found the sweet spot for using real fruit while keeping away from fake flavors. In today's fast-paced world, people are becoming more conscious of their health and are looking for healthier options in their food and drinks. Although most players in the industry haven't made a switch, new players, like Bonji, have introduced revolutionary products.
